Our Club History

Kiwanis was founded in Detroit, Michigan on January 21, 1915. The Kiwanis Club of Greater Napa was chartered as one of 7,700 clubs in 80 countries in 1969. Our motto is "Serving the Children of the World".  Our first President was Glenn Griffin.  We have a long and proud history of effective service ot our community. Many community leaders have been members of our club.

We contribute funds and volunteer labor to assist in many worthwhile community projects. Supporting not-for-profit orginaztions and community out reach programs. We give thousands of dollars to scholarships in local high schools and junior colleges every year.

We are a Model Club in our support of Eliminate Project. Eliminate Project is a Kiwanis International and Unicef project to eliminate Neonatal Tetanus.
